I feel my biggest my accomplishment is having the Local Exposure tour and making that work, because it’s not just me who benefits form it. It’s a lot more work, too. The X Games is one night, but the tour is months of planning, and who knows how many kids get stoked to ride because of it.

Everything; the Dew Tour, a 2-1/2 week road trip with Eastern Bikes in Europe, and having the Gravity Games in San Diego is going to be awesome.

X Games Gold medal 2002—the golden years. I won dirt at that FISE contest in France in 2000, and back in 1999 I won the Super G dirt comp at the Ontario BMX track. I won a couple of CFB’s here and there, an MSS in Cincinnati… I don’t know, I’m more of a top-five-guy [laughs]

Craziest place BMX has taken you:
-
Allan Cooke
This is a good question, BMX has taken me in so many different directions and so many location around the world. I’ve run across childhood friends in Portugal, been to a zoo in Australia to see live kangaroo’s because the 24 hours that we drove through the outback had nothing but dead roo’s on the road. The top things on my list of crazy stuff BMX has brought into my life would be an aerobatic stunt plane ride over the lake in Queenstown, NZ pulling two or three G’s or riding shotgun in a NASCAR at 170mph. Both of those experiences are insane and so much fun at the same time.

At the X Games in 2004, I crashed really hard in practice and landed on my head. I didn’t’ get knocked out I was like, ‘Dang this thing works!
